LM TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCE RELEASE OF NEW 3G/WI-FI HOTSPOT
New LM031 3G/Wi-Fi Hotspot enables wireless connection for up to five devices
Birmingham UK, - LM Technologies Consumer Electronics (CE) Division has announced the release of their new LM031 3G/Wi-Fi Hotspot Unit. This latest release allows for up to five Wi-Fi compatible devices to connect wirelessly to a network, providing high speed internet access, with download and upload speeds of 7.2Mbps and 5.76Mbps achieved through its built in 3G modem.
The LM031 is unlocked, meaning that users can switch between service providers. The Hotspot unit is compatible with global GSM networks, meaning that users can insert a local SIM card when travelling worldwide and save on high broadband costs abroad. Alternatively, users are also provided with greater choice in terms of UK networks, as they can switch between providers based on price, available speeds and data usage without feeling locked in to a longer term contract. Designed to be both small and lighter than most mobile phones, the LM031 can be carried around without inconvenience.
The Director of LM Technologies, Lee Parry added, “The LM031 3G/Wi-Fi Hotspot allows for an enhanced end user experience - users will be able to create their own community of people connecting wirelessly or indeed their own network of devices, capable of achieving high speed connectivity. By setting a password for their Hotspot unit, users can control the devices and people who have access to their wireless network, ensuring the LM031 can used securely at all times regardless of location.”
