LM TECHNOLOGIES CE DIVISION RELEASES NEW LM014 HSPA+ 14.4MBPS USB MODEM
LM Technologies Consumer Electronics (CE) Division has announced the release of their new LM014 HSPA+ 14.4Mbps USB Modem, an unlocked 3G modem. This new product, which can be used for roaming and connectivity, is compatible with any SIM card from any global operator, meaning that by inserting a local SIM Card into the modem, users do not have to worry about contract ties or expensive network charges when travelling abroad. In addition, the LM014 is able to offer high connectivity speeds (14.4Mbps download rate and 5.6Mbps upload rate), making this product the ideal portable modem to take abroad, whether travelling for business or pleasure. The setup of the modem is easy and straightforward, as the software is installed directly from the flash memory on the modem without the need to use a CD-ROM.
In addition to its connectivity features, the LM014 can also be used as a flash drive, by inserting a memory card (up to 16GB) into the micro-SD slot on the modem, thus making efficient use of available USB ports on the user’s PC or Laptop.
