LM TECHNOLOGIES CE DIVISION RELEASES NEW LM021 3.5G HSPA+ 21MBPS USB MODEM

New 21Mbps USB Modem allows increased choices for broadband users

Birmingham UK, September 2011- LM Technologies CE Division has released the new LM021, a 3.5G HSPA+ 21Mbps USB Modem. This unlocked, SIM free modem is compatible with major global operators and popular GSM frequencies, meaning that by inserting a local SIM card while overseas, the LM021 can be used worldwide for computers, laptops, 3G routers and other devices alike without incurring the typical exceptionally high costs of using broadband abroad.

Offering download and upload speeds of 21.6Mbps and 5.76Mbps, the LM021 allows users to enjoy superior connectivity speeds and benefit from the continued advancements in UK broadband networks. Additionally, it is backward compatible with 2G and 3G, meaning that users are able to roam seamlessly between networks, regardless of their location.

Other key features of this Windows and Mac Lion compatible modem include a CRC9 port which when connected with an external antenna will allow for increased signal strength and longer periods of connectivity. The device also has a shared storage function through a micro-SD slot, capable of storing up to 16GB of memory.
