LM TECHNOLOGIES RELEASES ENHANCED VERSION OF LM003 3G HSPA 7.2 MBPS USB MODEM

New version of LM003 7.2Mbps USB Modem includes CRC9 port

Birmingham UK, September 2011- LM Technologies Consumer Electronics (CE) Division has released an enhanced version of the LM003 7.2Mbps USB Modem. Similarly to its predecessor, the LM003 is unlocked - users can therefore switch between SIM cards and networks based on their individual needs in terms of coverage, data charges and location, without feeling tied down by long term network commitments. Additionally, the modem is unlocked to global networks, and compatible with local SIM cards when travelling overseas, making the LM003 the ideal product for travellers who want to save on broadband costs abroad.

Setup and use of the LM003 is straightforward, as the required software installs directly from the modem and offers high connectivity speeds (download and upload speeds of 7.2Mbps and 5.76Mbps respectively). However, the redesign of the modem means that it now offers a CRC9 port. When combined with an external antenna, the LM003 will be able to offer improved signal strength and connectivity. Other features of the LM003 include the incorporation of a micro-SD slot, allowing for the modem to double up as a flash drive capable of storing up to 32GB of memory.
