Intermittent connection suggests the adapter is trying to connect, gets blocked by your router and disconnects. This is usually because the router has WEP or WPA / WPA2 security enabled and the adapter has not been configured with your key.

The PSP can only work on WEP or WPA. If you have a secure network, make sure you enter the network key properly in the PSP... Its easy to mix up a character... also, make sure your network is set up for -11b or mixed mode. Make sure your network is setup for OPEN and NOT SHARED! This is important.

Windows XP has its own wireless management software called Windows Zero Configuration. This software needs to be disabled before the LM001 will work using the drivers supplied. To disable the WZC, go to the start menu, click on run, type in services.msc and press enter. From the services window you will want to scroll all the way down to Wireless Zero Configuration and right-click the name, then click Properties. From the Service Status area choose Stop to stop the service. From the Startup Type drop-down menu, choose Disabled so that the service doesn't startup the next time you start Windows XP

There are some compatibilty issues with 64 bit systems with this driver however some systems are working and some are not. We are investigating why this issue is occuring and will endeavour to find a solution.

Yes, the LM001 will work with Windows 7 but there are some issues with the Windows 7 64bit driver.
